What have the arnold fam been doing?

This is what the arnold fam have been up to lately,

Dan is still working full time at CIT Inc (he is a financial analyst) by day and by night he is a Target employee. Dan has applied to target 4 times since we moved to north carolina and 2 weeks ago he got a call, interview and an on the spot hire. He started last saturday. (Praise God) Dan also sings with the First Baptist Indian Trail Choir and was asked to be in a men's ensemble group.

Kim works part time from home for GE Money as a customer service representative. I started watching children in my home, I currently watch a little boy Lucas. What a blessing, he comes from a christian home. The family moved from Miami to North Carolina, last summer. I will start watching my nephew, Trevor, in the summer. He and Kaili will start kindergarten together at Benton Heights Elementary school in July. I have a baby that should be joining our Klan in October, the mother is a school teacher at Walter Bickett. Dan and I teach Dakota's Sunday school at FBCIT.

Kaili is half way through her Pre-K class at the Walter Bickett Education Center, she is doing phenomenal. She loves going to school, this has been the most positive and rewarding experience for her. Kaili is becoming more assertive and social. She takes a leadership role in class and has learned so much since August. She is prepared for Kindergarten. Kaili will be attending Benton Heights Elementary School next year. Kaili's first tooth is lose, of course everyday we need to look in the mirror to see if we are closer to it falling out. Kaili is in her 2nd year at AWANA's a christian program at our church, she is reciting bible verse's learning about gods goodness and faithfulness. It is awesome to see her growth and love for the lord. She loves to sing and dance, she will start a cheer leading class in May. I am looking into some gymnastics and sports activities for her as well.

Dakota has been enjoying some time home with mommy while Kaili is in school, but he is excited and ready for Pre -K. I pre-registered him for the Pre-K program a few weeks ago, he will be tested in June and then class assignments will be posted early July. I am hoping that he will attend the Pre-k class at Benton Heights then Kaili and him will ride the same bus. Dakota is involved in his 1st year at AWANA's, he to is reciting bible verse's and learning about gods goodness and faithfulness. The questions that he asks is a true testament, he is on fire for god and loves to talk and ask questions. Dakota loves playing with his trucks, cars, and anything that makes noise. He is just like daddy in that he could watch movies all day long. Anyone that knows Dan knows what a movie lover he is, well like father like son. Dakota will be taking Karate starting in May, I am also looking for sports activities for him.

Kyra - Joy has been growing like a weed, she is almost as tall as Dakota and doesn't seem to be slowing down. We were concerned about her speech, since she really never spoke much that we could understand. But over the past few weeks she is starting to speak with more clarity, she is becoming our little chatter box. She will stand and talk to me with her little arms moving and head bobbing, I maybe able to distinguish a few words but she is so proud of her self. It is adorable. She loves playing with her brother and sister, sometimes, she asks as if Kaili is her mommy. ( quite cute )

Well that is about it for What have the arnold fam been doing.

Okay, so I've never even left a comment on a blog nor do I believe I've ever visited a blog. Austin had to help me figure out how to post a comment. How am I doing with the terminology?
You certainly are busy, but your enthusiasm for your family and life shine through in your posting! Your faithfulness and determination will get you through whatever life may deal you.
We have been there with the financial challenges of having me stay home with the kids and if I had it to do again, knowing what I know now, I'd make the same decision every time! It certainly brings out creativity!
Gabbie and Kellsie are at the high school participating in a mini-thon for the 4 Diamonds through Penn State/Hershey Medical Center. I will pick them up at 7 tomorrow morning. Just writing about this makes me tired but I have to remember that I had plenty of energy to do something like this when I was a teenager, but those days are so long gone!!!
Kellsie asked me if I would mind if she cut her hair tonight to donate to Locks of Love. She's done it before and has been letting it grow out so she can donate again. I'm anxious to see her tomorrow morning. I don't know if she'll have the courage to do it in front of the high school student body or not...we'll see!
How much fun will that be for Kaili and Trevor to go to school together next year. I always wished I went to school with my cousins!! :-)
I'm going to finish up my 3-year- long painting project tomorrow. During the past three years I've never finished painting the hallway but have changed the color 3 times! I really think tomorrow is the day to finish...stranger things than this have happened.
Have a great Easter!
Looking forward to reading updated posts and seeing more pictures!
Love,
Lisa

Looks good Kim!! I need to do something like this since we are not around any of our immediate family.

It sounds like you all are doing great and God is working in your lives. I love when He does that:-) Your testimony is an encouragement to us!

Jack and I have been missing you guys. Hope to see you Saturday night at Mark & Julie's house.

We just got back from Myrtle Beach on Wednesday. We celebrated our 10 year anniversary a month early because this was the only week my sister could come down and watch the kids for us. We had a great time! You'll meet my sister Saturday if you all make it to Mark & Julie's.

Kiss those beautiful kids for me!

LYSIC,
Debbie
